Princess Cruises Covid Update

Today Princess Cruises Covid policies include a slightly modified vaccination policy and extended Book with Confidence program hoping to improve customer confidence in both the short and long term.

What You Need To Know About Today’s Princess Cruises Covid Policy Update

With the current spike in cases and the negative headlines surrounding the cruise industry, Princess has decided to continue requiring guests to be fully vaccinated and provide proof. The updated Princess Cruises Covid policy requires guests to also have proof of a Covid-19 booster for voyages longer than 15 days, effective immediately.

With this update Princess, like many other cruise lines, is showing they are committed to doing everything they can to keep guests and crew members safe. With this policy in effect and understanding that customers are unsure of whether or not they are comfortable cruising, the Book with Confidence policy is also being extended. Guests who book by March 2, 2022, are now covered under the policy including summer 2022 sailings (which includes cruises departing through 9/30/22).

Book with Confidence gives guests the option to change their cruise plans up to 30 days prior to the day of departure. They will receive cancelation fees as future cruise credit to be used on a future cruise of their choice. Additionally, within the Book with Confidence policy is the COVID-19 Protection Program which provides assistance to guests who have tested positive.
