Norwegian’s current suspension announcement — as of October 5, 2020 — means NCL won’t be returning to the water before December 1, 2020 at the earliest. In addition, sailings aboard Norwegian Dawn, Spirit, and Star have been suspended through March 31, 2021.

Norwegian is also changing their incentive and refund policy with this latest announcement. Guests effected by prior NCL suspensions automatically received future cruise credit (FCC) valued at 125% of paid cruise fare and guests had to request a refund if the FCC offer was unacceptable. Norwegian’s current suspension announcement offers clients an automatic 100% refund and a 10% discount coupon toward another cruise.
