7-Night Alaska Cruise Itinerary

Day 1 (July 12, 2024): Seattle
Depart: 4:00pm

Plan enough time to explore Seattle before boarding Celebrity Edge. Diversity is the main word you'll use to describe this beautiful city. Founded in the 1850's, Seattle is a mixture of historic landmarks, different cultures, and modern architecture set against the backdrop of some of natures most epic scenery.

Your time in Seattle isn't complete until you experience Space Needle

Day 2 (July 13, 2024): Day at Sea

Ease into vacation by relaxing around the pool, in the hot tub, or getting spa treatments. As you explore the beautiful Celebrity Edge, you'll find lots of options for food, drinks, trivia and other fun activities, and great live entertainment.

Day 3 (July 14, 2024): Ketchikan
Docked: 7:00am - 4:00pm

Ketchikan is known as the salmon capital of the world so you know there are some fishing and nature adventures unlike anything you've experienced. If adventure isn't your middle name, a cultural tour through Ketchikan, home to the Tlingit people, will take you to see beautifully and expertly carved totem poles. Whatever you choose to do, Ketchikan is a port you'll leave with fond memories.

Day 4 (July 15, 2024): Endicott Arm / Dawes Glacier

Dress in layers to stay warm as you sail through Alaska’s Endicott Arm Fjord. Be on the lookout for brown bears, bald eagles, deer, moose, and the cute harbor seals splashing in the icy water or hanging out on a giant chunk of ice.

Before you know it you'll be looking at Dawes Glacier, an active icecap known for spectacular and noisy calving displays, sending huge icebergs floating in the water.

Endicott Arm and Dawes Glacier will be a highlight of your cruise

Day 4 (July 15, 2024): Juneau
Docked: 1:30pm - 10:00pm

Juneau is a bucket list destination. Pan for gold, enjoy a whale watching adventure, go rafting around Mendenhall Glacier, or visit the dog sled camps where you'll hop on a sled and see what it's like to be part of Alaska's culture... and play with puppies!

Day 5 (July 16, 2024): Skagway
Docked: 7:00am - 6:00pm

Spend the day in Skagway, a charming town of restored 19th-century buildings and its historic railway. Learn the fascinating history of Skagway at the Klondike Gold Rush National Park Museum or take a ride on the historic train and admire the mountains.

Day 5 (July 16, 2024): Inside Passage

After your fun day in Skagway, sail the protected Alaska Inside Passage, a complex maze of fjords and bays where you'll see whales and sea lions during the summer months.

Day 6 (July 17, 2024): Day at Sea

After all the adventures you experienced, you'll be ready for another relaxing day at sea on Edge. Watch presentations on other Celebrity destinations, spend some time in the gym, or take in a show in The Club or another great venue. Another great option (additional cost) is a behind the scenes ship tour.

There's a lot to do on a sea day and you can be as busy you like -- or just relax in your favorite spot.

Day 8 (July 19, 2024): Seattle

All good things must come to an end. Your cruise may be over, but you're in Seattle so your vacation doesn't have to be. Take a city tour, visit the famous marketplace, and enjoy a meal at one of many local restaurants.

Celebrity Edge
Introduction to Celebrity Edge

Edge, launched in 2018, is one of the newest ships in the Celebrity fleet, and has refined what a cruise experience is including Magic Carpet, a platform that moves between decks; Rooftop Garden, a spacious area perfect for relaxing; and upscale restaurants where you'll enjoy delicious meals.

Celebrity provides a luxury experience on Edge with large venues with plenty of room to stretch out, efficient systems making embarkation and disembarkation a breeze, and a spa like none other at sea.

Celebrity Edge has beautiful staterooms that will make your experience top notch no matter which category you choose. Some stateroom categories have an infinite veranda, making your stateroom feel bigger than comparable balcony staterooms. There is no sliding glass door to step through, the "balcony" is part of your room where you'll find a sitting area and a floor to ceiling window that opens half way.

The Retreat isn't your ordinary "suite class" of staterooms. From beautiful accommodations to butler service, exclusive venues and the premium version of "all included" when you sail in The Retreat, you'll experience service and amenities unlike any other at sea.

Choose to sail in Aqua Class stateroom where you'll stay in a larger than average room and have an infinite veranda. You'll be mid-ship for the smoothest sailing and on a higher deck, too, so the views are amazing. You'll have access to a private restaurant (Blu), unlimited access to the thermal suite, and a dedicated spa concierge who will help you find the best ways to relax and unwind.

Concierge Class staterooms don't come with a concierge -- not a dedicated one (like a butler), anyway -- you'll benefit from a shared concierge who will help you get the most out of your time on the ship. Additionally, Concierge rooms feature an infinite veranda, desirable location on the ship, plus priority seating at restaurants.

Veranda staterooms, traditional or infinite, are a wonderful way to have a private view of the world. You'll either have a seating area on the other side of a sliding glass door (traditional), or a sitting area in front of a huge floor to ceiling window that opens. Either way, the Veranda staterooms on Celebrity Edge are a great value and comfortable way to see the world.

Ocean View staterooms are perfect for those who want a glimpse at passing scenery but won't spend enough time on a balcony to justify the expense. If you're the type of sailor who plans to spend more time exploring all that Edge has to offer, this is a great option.
